Steve and Bob's Excellent Golf Adventure in Scotland.  15 rounds in 10 days!

Steve Friend and Bob Forster on Swilican Bridge, St. Andrews.

Looking across 17th fairway up towards the 18th hole, R&A Clubhouse and the town of St. Andrews.

Steep and deep.

Steve at Kingsbarns Golf Club with clubhouse in background at St. Andrews.

Steve shot 73 at the Old Course and I had 74.  Played with two members who invited us in for drinks at the St. Andrews Club, to the right of Old Tom Morris' Shop.  18th green on the Old Course from the clubhouse.

Clubhouse behind Old Course 18th hole.  Home of the R&A - Royal and Ancient Golf Assoc.

Swilican bridge on 18th hole at the Old Course.  Monument in the background is to the martyrs who were burned to death by the Catholics when they tried to stamp out the Protestants in the 1600s.  Part of the St. Andrews University is past it to its right.  Russaks Hotel on the right where Palmer and Nicklaus stayed, don't ask how much/night.

Steve and Bob at Lundin Links, 12 miles south of St. Andrews.  Firth of Forth in the background.  St. Andrews Bay over the rear hill is part of the Firth of Forth.  This leads from the North Sea to the port at Edinburgh.

Kingsbarns Golf Club

Crail Golf Club.  About 10 miles from St. Andrews.  6th oldest club in Scotland, 1895.  Winds its way along St. Andrews Bay.  Pebble Beach has nothing on the courses we're playing.

Steve with the flag in the hole.  Notice the island in the background, Isle of Aryan. Famous prized cattle raised there.  Train runs right next to course.
