Committee Reports:
Mike Montgomery – Communications:
Team Play: Mike Montgomery commented that
the Saturday Team Play roster has been selected. This can be found on
the message board and website for your viewing. Our first round will be
here on January 23rd. Mel Collins noted Thursday is coming
along nicely. Mel gave special thanks to Pro Shop employee and fellow
Club member, Mike Wunderley. Mike helped us a lot in providing times to
play the flights matches. Mel read the winners and runners up. Results
can be found elsewhere on this Newsletter.
Don Marmion – Commissioner: Don had
nothing to report and there were no questions.
Bob Livingstone – SCGA Delegate: The SCGA
Club Champions tournament was held in Palm Desert yesterday. Mel Collins,
our 2009 Champ, carded an 81 to finish in the top half of the
competition. A new SCGA logo is to come out January 1, 2010. Look at the
SCGA website to try to sneak a glimpse.

in last month’s tournament (3) did not post, (7) posted from the women’s
blue tees, and (1) posted scores higher than they carded

to report. Tom Conlisk asked about the Ruling during match play where
one addresses the ball, the ball moves, and you continue through the
swing.

the Month for November was Eddie Fernandez with a smooth 72. The Net
winner went to Rick Evans with a 62 (77 – 15)!!!
Bret Holloway – Treasurer: Busy
collecting 2010 renewals at this time.
Nick Zamora – Entertainment: We finished
off the year at Sierra Lakes. The course was in very
good condition. Some low scores were turned in. Nick has a few new
courses for next year. See your 2010 schedule. We are going back to
Aliante for the Weekender again this year. The Little Brown Jug was a
lot of fun again this year. It all came down to the last round. See
results posted else in the Newsletter.

to buy more raffle tickets. The prizes range from merchandise to cash.

that it has been a pleasure being the tournament chair the past 2-years.

run just after the tournament. Bret Holloway has the 50, Tom Conlisk the
40, and Rich Dennison has the 30. Dennis explained the Derby format. The
Club is paying everyone’s Special Events entry for the Christmas
tournament. Tom Retterath called 15 names for January sign up
Pres. Leininger noted that from December
22 through January 4 you will not be able to post as the SCGA will be
shutting the IDC system down to integrate into GHIN. After Jan. 4, you
can post at home, here, or place your card in the drawer for Rich
Dennison to post for you.

the Board of Directors that he has had and the membership who supported
him these past 2-years while serving in the capacity of Club President.
Jerry read the 2010 BOD to the attendees.
