Special Events Report
There are a few things to note that might make things go smoother.
1. When signing in on
Tournament day and posting your name on the special events placards on the
course, please use your first and last name. I know a lot of you but not
everybody yet. It would make my Monday nights a little easier. For instance, if
your name is Cairo, don’t just put Cairo on the sheet because then I have to go
through the list and try to figure out which Cairo it is. Also, please write
legibly. I know it is early in the morning and some of you are still hung over,
but I can’t pay off Hmpeth Johmnnswh if I don’t know who you are.
2.
There was confusion at the last tournament about which handicap to use for
special events. I was going on current index but I understand some people were
told to go by 80% tournament index. This made a lot of difference to the nine
and ten handicaps that did not know if they got their stroke on the ninth hole
for Amen Corner. Please rest assured that this will be discussed and made clear
by May’s Tournament.
3.
We are still getting rather light C Flight participation. Next tournament we
will try 15 and above for C Flight.
